Luxurious Closets and Nightstands

It’s not a living room or kitchen, but closets and nightstands deserve a design that celebrates the role they play in the home. They can be welcoming additions to the busier areas of our home. Not only do they store our prized possessions, but they can also be warm and appealing to our comfort levels, making a mindful experience out of getting dressed or cuddling up in bed to read a good book. JCL Staging & Design shows you how you can make your closet and nightstand design dreams come true.

TIP 1: The Closet that Keeps on Giving

Think luxury and simplicity when it comes to your walk-in closet. If you have the space, let your imagination run wild. It’s not only a closet, but a fashion haven all your own. Create space to highlight your favorite fashion staples and display your shoes. You want to be able to see things easily, and stay away from clutter, which will alter the energy in the space. A seat or stylish bench adds extra comfort and a convenient place to sit. The final touch of class can be a beautiful light, whether a chandelier, recessed lighting, or a trendy floor lamp.

TIP 2: Nightstands that Mean Something

The nightstand may not be a star when it comes to design chatter, but let’s not underestimate its importance in our daily lives. Nightstands may just be the balance needed in your bedroom design by placing one on each side of the bed. You can even change it up and have a different nightstand on either side! These can hold a stylish lamp that flows with the rest of the bedroom and can even include drawers that act as storage. If you desire something a bit different, choose a design that includes shelves rather than closed drawers. Showcase your favorite books or include a basket that stores your journals to decorate the nightstand.

TIP 3: Chic Closets, Small Spaces

Do not think for one second that just because you don’t have tons of space you can’t have a beautifully trendy, and stylist closet. You can! Reimagine the use of the area to get the same convenience as a large walk-in closet with half the space. If you have a walk-in that is narrow and long, think shelves! Shelves can go a long way in creating storage for everything you need without being a space-eater. Shelves are perfect for putting away your daily essentials that can cause clutter in other parts of your bedroom like; perfumes, jewelry, and other accessories. If it’s not a walk-in, no worries. You can still create a closet that has a place for all your essentials. A space you could open and easily find what you need. Shelves combined with a couple clothing racks can be just the thing you need to design a closet that makes you feel good.

TIP 4: Multi-functional Nightstands

How can you get more out of your nightstand? Think about the college student in your life. Maybe the nightstand can also be small dressers or include an easily convertible laptop stand. These days you can find night stands that include technology! These can have their own USB ports and outlets, making it easy to charge your devices!
